National symbols belong to all of us.
“Hate speech diminishes Finland and harms the country. National symbols belong to all of us.”
We use the lion as the logo and symbol of our campaign. We treat it in a way that is modern while respecting tradition. We believe that a national symbol can pass express Finnish values such as tolerance and equality.
The symbol crystallises the theme of Pekka Haavisto’s campaign: Finland’s next 100 years.
